King Wenceslaus IV
King Wenceslaus IV, also known as Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia, was a ruler in the late 14th and early 15th centuries, reigning from 1378 to 1419. He was a member of the Luxembourg dynasty and became Holy Roman Emperor in 1389. Wenceslaus is often remembered for his struggles with political instability, conflicts with noble factions, and his neglect of governance, which led to a decline in royal authority. His reign was marked by the rise of dissent against his rule, ultimately contributing to significant upheavals in Bohemia, including the early stages of the Hussite Wars.
