Keck Observatory
Keck Observatory, located on Mauna Kea in Hawaii, is home to two of the world's largest optical telescopes. These telescopes, each with a mirror 10 meters wide, allow astronomers to observe distant stars, galaxies, and other celestial phenomena with remarkable clarity. Built in the 1990s, the observatory uses advanced technology to collect and analyze light from astronomical objects, greatly enhancing our understanding of the universe. Its unique location at a high elevation provides clear skies and minimal light pollution, making it an ideal site for astronomical research.
