Jerusalem Talmud

The Jerusalem Talmud, also known as the Talmud Yerushalmi, is a central text of Jewish law and tradition, compiled around the 4th-5th centuries CE in the land of Israel. It consists of discussions and interpretations of the Mishnah, an earlier collection of Jewish oral laws. Unlike the more widely studied Babylonian Talmud, the Jerusalem Talmud reflects the unique cultural and religious context of the Jewish community in Israel. It comprises legal, ethical, and narrative content, serving as an important resource for understanding Jewish thought and law.
