Inti
Inti is the Incan sun god, considered one of the most important deities in the Inca civilization, which thrived in South America before Spanish colonization. Inti was believed to be the ancestor of the Incas and was revered for bringing warmth and life to the earth, essential for agriculture. The Incas celebrated Inti through various festivals, most notably Inti Raymi, marking the winter solstice. Temples dedicated to Inti, such as the Temple of the Sun in Cusco, showcased the civilization's advanced architecture and deep spiritual beliefs tied to nature and the cycles of life.
