International Socialist Organization

The International Socialist Organization (ISO) was a U.S.-based socialist organization that aimed to promote socialist ideas and activism. Founded in 1977 and active until it dissolved in 2019, the ISO sought to unite workers and marginalized groups to challenge capitalism and advocate for social justice. It emphasized grassroots organizing, social movements, and the need for a democratic socialist society. While promoting a revolutionary agenda, the organization engaged in various political issues, including labor rights, anti-war efforts, and racial equality, seeking to build solidarity among diverse groups to effect meaningful social change.
