Indus Valley Civilisation Wars

The Indus Valley Civilization, flourishing around 2500 BCE in present-day Pakistan and northwest India, is notable for its advanced urban planning and trade. Unlike many ancient societies, it shows little evidence of warfare. Archaeological findings suggest that while there were fortifications and tools that could be used for conflict, large-scale battles or organized warfare are not prominent in their history. Instead, the civilization focused on trade, agriculture, and craftsmanship. Their decline around 1900 BCE may have resulted from climate change or other external factors rather than direct military confrontations, reflecting a unique aspect of ancient societal development.
