
IGAD
IGAD, or the Intergovernmental Authority on Development, is a regional organization in East Africa aimed at promoting economic cooperation, peace, and security among its member states. Established in 1986, it includes countries like Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, and Djibouti. IGAD works on issues such as conflict resolution, drought management, and regional integration. By fostering collaboration between its members, IGAD seeks to address common challenges and enhance stability and development in the region.
