Garner Ted Armstrong
Garner Ted Armstrong was an influential American religious leader, writer, and broadcaster, known primarily for his role in the Religious Broadcast Network and for founding the United States-based Church of God International. He was the son of Herbert W. Armstrong, the founder of the Worldwide Church of God. Garner Ted gained prominence in the 1960s and 1970s for his radio and television programs, which often focused on biblical prophecy and interpretation. He eventually distanced himself from his father's church, reflecting differing beliefs, and continued to promote his interpretations of Christianity until his passing in 2003.
