Ambassador College

Ambassador College was a private institution founded in 1947 by Herbert W. Armstrong, primarily associated with the Worldwide Church of God, which he also established. Located in Pasadena, California, it focused on biblical studies and religious education, aiming to train leaders for the church and its affiliated organizations. The college offered programs in theology, music, and liberal arts, emphasizing a conservative Christian worldview. However, after Armstrong's death in 1986 and changes within the church, the college faced declining enrollment and eventually closed in 1997. Its legacy remains intertwined with its controversial teachings and Armstrong’s influence on evangelical Christianity.
