Frame Relay

Frame Relay is a type of data communication technology used to connect computers and networks over a wide area. It allows multiple users to share the same communication line, sending data in packets called "frames." This process is efficient and cost-effective, as it manages bandwidth dynamically and supports different types of data traffic. Once popular in the 1990s and early 2000s, Frame Relay is a method of transmitting information quickly and reliably across long distances, but it's gradually being replaced by newer technologies like MPLS and broadband Internet services.
