Equality Impact Assessment

An Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) is a process used to evaluate how policies, programs, or projects might affect different groups of people, particularly those protected by equality laws, such as race, gender, age, disability, and others. The goal is to identify potential positive or negative effects on these groups, ensuring that decisions promote equality and do not inadvertently discriminate.
