Epistemological realism

Epistemological realism is the philosophical view that our knowledge can accurately reflect reality. In the context of rationalism, which emphasizes reason as the primary source of knowledge, epistemological realism suggests that by using logic and rational thought, we can arrive at truths about the world that exist independently of our perceptions. This means that there is a reality out there that our minds can comprehend, and our beliefs can genuinely correspond to that reality, rather than being merely subjective or influenced by personal experiences. In essence, epistemological realism asserts that we can know things as they truly are.
