Eightfold Path

The Eightfold Path is a key principle in Buddhism, guiding individuals toward spiritual enlightenment and the cessation of suffering. It consists of eight interconnected practices: Right Understanding, Right Intent, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration. Together, these steps encourage ethical behavior, mental discipline, and wisdom, helping practitioners to develop compassion, clarity, and insight. Following the Eightfold Path aims to cultivate a balanced and meaningful life, ultimately leading to nirvana—freedom from suffering and the cycle of rebirth.
