Eastern Partnership
The Eastern Partnership is a diplomatic initiative launched by the European Union in 2009, aimed at strengthening relationships with six Eastern European countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. Its main goals include promoting political association, economic integration, and enhancing cooperation in areas like governance, security, and trade. This partnership seeks to support reforms in these countries and foster their closer ties with Europe, while also encouraging sustainable development and human rights. Ultimately, it aims to create a more stable and prosperous region, benefiting both the EU and its Eastern neighbors.
