Minsk Agreements
The Minsk Agreements are a series of international treaties aimed at stopping the conflict between Ukraine and pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. Negotiated in 2014 and 2015, they outline steps for a ceasefire, withdrawal of heavy weapons, prisoner exchanges, and constitutional reforms to grant more autonomy to regions. The goal is to create a peaceful resolution and restore stability, but the agreements have faced challenges in full implementation, and fighting has continued at times. They serve as a framework for diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict peacefully.
