Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace refers to two main concepts. Historically, it was a grand structure built for the 1851 Great Exhibition in London, showcasing industry and culture, renowned for its innovative use of glass and iron. The building was later relocated to South London and housed various exhibitions until it was destroyed by fire in 1936. Today, "Crystal Palace" also refers to an area and a football club, Crystal Palace FC, established in 1905. The club competes in the English Premier League and has a passionate fan base, contributing to the vibrant sports culture in the region.
