Crystal Palace Dinosaurs
The Crystal Palace Dinosaurs are a set of outdoor sculptures in London, created in 1854, depicting prehistoric reptiles based on the scientific knowledge of the time. They are made of painted plaster and were the world's first dinosaur models, designed to educate and amuse visitors at the Crystal Palace Park. Although their accuracy is outdated by today's standards, they remain significant as early efforts to visualize extinct creatures in a lifelike form and are now cherished historical landmarks.
