Coelophysis
Coelophysis was a small, agile dinosaur that lived during the Late Triassic period, about 210 million years ago. It measured around 10 feet long and had a lightweight, slender body, long neck, and large eyes, which suggest it was a swift predator. Fossils have been found in North America, particularly in what is now New Mexico. Coelophysis is notable for its early adaptation to bipedal movement, walking on two legs, and it likely hunted small animals or scavenged meat. Its fossils also suggest social behavior, possibly indicating it lived and hunted in packs.
