Client State
A client state is a country that relies on another more powerful nation for support, often in economic or military matters. While it maintains its own government and sovereignty, it may take direction or influence from the stronger country, which can provide aid, protection, or political backing. This relationship can result from historical alliances, strategic interests, or coercion. Essentially, a client state has some autonomy, but its decisions and stability can be heavily impacted by the interests and actions of the more dominant nation it depends on.
