CHOP chemotherapy

CHOP chemotherapy is a commonly used treatment regimen for certain types of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. The acronym "CHOP" stands for four drugs: Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine, and Prednisone. Each drug targets cancer cells in different ways, working together to slow their growth and spread. The treatment is typically given in cycles, allowing the body time to recover between doses. While CHOP can be effective in treating lymphoma, it may also cause side effects, as it affects both cancerous and healthy cells in the body.
