Camp David

Camp David is a presidential retreat located in the Catoctin Mountain Park in Maryland, USA. It is primarily used by U.S. presidents for informal gatherings and meetings. Most notably, it was the site of the 1978 Camp David Accords, where U.S. President Jimmy Carter facilitated historic peace negotiations between Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, leading to a peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. The retreat symbolizes diplomacy and is often associated with high-stakes negotiations in a more relaxed setting away from the formalities of Washington, D.C.
