Broadcast Domain
A broadcast domain is a section of a network where devices can directly send messages to each other without needing a router. When one device sends a broadcast message, all devices within that domain receive it. This is common in local area networks (LANs). For example, in a home network, your computer can communicate with a printer or other devices directly. However, devices outside this broadcast domain won’t see these messages, which helps reduce network traffic and improves efficiency. Essentially, it's like a conversation that only a specific group can hear.
