Broadcast traffic

Broadcast traffic refers to data packets sent from one device on a network to all other devices within the same network segment. Instead of targeting a specific device, the message is broadcasted so that every device listening on that network can receive and process it if needed. This is useful for tasks like discovering devices or sharing common information. However, excessive broadcast traffic can slow down the network because all devices have to handle these universal messages, even if they don't need them. It's a fundamental part of network communication but needs to be managed to maintain efficient operation.
