Bornean Orangutan

The Bornean orangutan is a primate native to the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. It has distinctive reddish-brown hair and long limbs, adapted for a tree-dwelling lifestyle. Bornean orangutans are known for their intelligence and complex behaviors, using tools and demonstrating problem-solving skills. They primarily eat fruits but also consume leaves, bark, and insects. Sadly, they are critically endangered due to habitat loss from logging, palm oil plantations, and hunting.
