Orangutan Foundation International

Orangutan Foundation International (OFI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of orangutans and their rainforest habitat in Indonesia. It works through rescue and rehabilitation of orangutans, protecting their forest homes from deforestation and illegal activities, and educating local communities and visitors about the importance of rainforest conservation. OFI also promotes sustainable livelihoods to help reduce human-wildlife conflict. By combining fieldwork, research, and awareness efforts, OFI aims to ensure a future where orangutans can thrive in their natural environment.
