Borda Count
The Borda Count is a voting method used to rank options or candidates based on preference. Voters rank their choices in order, assigning points for each rank—typically, the top choice gets the most points, and the least favorite receives the fewest. After all votes are cast, the points are totaled for each option. The option with the highest score wins. This method encourages consensus, as it values a broader range of preferences rather than just focusing on the most popular choice. It's often used in group decisions and elections to reflect overall collective preferences.
