Atmosphere layers
The Earth's atmosphere is divided into five main layers based on temperature and altitude. Starting from the surface, the **troposphere** contains weather and supports life. Above it is the **stratosphere**, where the ozone layer protects us from harmful UV rays. Next is the **mesosphere**, where meteors burn up upon entry. The **thermosphere** follows, where temperatures soar and the Northern Lights occur. Finally, the **exosphere** is the outermost layer, gradually fading into space, where satellites orbit the Earth. Each layer plays a vital role in protecting our planet and influencing its climate.
