Aristotelous Square

The Aristotelian Square, or Square of Opposition, is a diagram used in logic to illustrate the relationships between different types of statements. It helps clarify how statements about things relate to each other, specifically regarding their truth values. There are four types of categorical propositions: universal affirmative ("All A are B"), universal negative ("No A are B"), particular affirmative ("Some A are B"), and particular negative ("Some A are not B"). The square shows how these statements oppose or support one another, helping to analyze arguments and draw valid conclusions in reasoning.
