Archimedes' Claw

Archimedes' Claw, also known as the Claw of Archimedes, was an ancient defensive mechanism designed to protect coastal cities from naval attacks. It worked by using a large crane-like device to lift and capsize enemy ships. When an enemy vessel approached, the claw would grab the hull, lifting it out of the water, and then drop it, causing the ship to capsize.
