Amplitude Modulation signal

Amplitude Modulation (AM) is a technique used to encode information, such as audio, into a carrier wave for transmission. In AM, the strength (amplitude) of the carrier wave is varied in accordance with the audio signal's intensity, while the frequency remains constant. This allows the information to be carried over long distances via radio waves. AM radio broadcasts are a common example, where listeners receive audio by tuning into specific frequencies. While it's effective and simple, AM signals can be more susceptible to noise and interference compared to other modulation methods.
