Aiptasia

Aiptasia are small, marine creatures belonging to the sea anemone family. They typically have a cylindrical body topped with tentacles that help them catch food, primarily tiny particles drifting in the water. While they are natural inhabitants of coral reefs, Aiptasia can become a problem in aquariums because they reproduce quickly and compete with corals and other marine life for resources.
