Acceleration
Acceleration is the rate at which an object’s velocity changes over time. When an object speeds up, slows down, or changes direction, it is experiencing acceleration. For instance, when a car presses the gas pedal, it accelerates forward. Similarly, if it brakes, it decelerates, which is a form of acceleration in the opposite direction. Acceleration is measured in units like meters per second squared (m/s²). Overall, it helps us understand how quickly an object is moving faster or slower, or how it alters its path in response to forces acting upon it.
