Ação Libertadora Nacional (ALN)
Ação Libertadora Nacional (ALN) was a Brazilian revolutionary group formed in the 1960s as part of the broader resistance against the military dictatorship that ruled Brazil from 1964 to 1985. The ALN aimed to overthrow the government through armed struggle and sought to promote socialist ideas. They were involved in guerrilla warfare and other militant activities, advocating for social change and the end of oppressive regimes. Although the group had some influence, it faced significant repression and ultimately diminished as Brazil transitioned back to democracy in the late 1980s.
