25th Amendment
The 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution deals with presidential succession and disability. It has four sections: 1. If the President dies or resigns, the Vice President becomes President. 2. If the President cannot fulfill their duties temporarily, they can transfer power to the Vice President. 3. If the President is unable to declare their own incapacity, the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet can do so, temporarily removing the President from power until they can resume their duties. Essentially, it ensures continuity of government and addresses potential issues of presidential incapacity.
