
Zenith
In geography and astronomy, the zenith is the point directly above an observer on the celestial sphere. It’s the highest point you can see in the sky from your position, where an imaginary line drawn straight upward intersects the celestial sphere. For example, when the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky during midday, it is near your zenith if you're at the right location and time. The opposite of the zenith is the nadir, which is directly below you. The concept helps us understand the position of celestial objects relative to an observer’s location on Earth.
