Zenith's Space Command
Zenith's Space Command was an innovative remote control system introduced in the 1950s, primarily for television sets. It allowed users to change channels and adjust volume without the need for a physical remote, using a unique sonar technology that detected the sound of a simple button click. This system used ultrasonic sound waves, making it one of the earliest wireless remote controls. Although it was eventually replaced by more advanced technologies, Space Command was a significant step forward in making television viewing more convenient and user-friendly.
