weak force
The weak force is one of the four fundamental forces in nature, responsible for certain types of radioactive decay and nuclear reactions. It operates at a subatomic level, enabling particles like neutrons to transform into protons, electrons, and neutrinos. Unlike gravity or electromagnetism, the weak force has a very short range and is mediated by particles called W and Z bosons. Although it is called "weak," it plays a crucial role in the universe by fueling processes like the Sun’s energy production and the evolution of stars.
