Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande

Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande was an influential Indian musicologist and a key figure in the revival of Indian classical music in the early 20th century. Born in 1860, he developed a system for notating and organizing traditional Indian ragas. His pioneering work, "Hindustani Sangeet Paddhati," provided a structured approach to teaching and learning classical music, making it more accessible.
