Vikram Sarabhai

Vikram Sarabhai was a pioneering Indian scientist and innovator, widely regarded as the father of India’s space program. Born in 1919, he envisioned using space technology to benefit India’s development, including improving communication, weather forecasting, and education. He founded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in 1969, which has since achieved significant milestones, such as launching successful satellites and India’s Mars mission.
