Vice President of the United States
The Vice President of the United States is the second-highest executive official in the country, directly after the President. Elected alongside the President, the Vice President's main duties include stepping in as President if needed, such as if the President dies, resigns, or is unable to serve. The Vice President also serves as the President of the Senate, casting tie-breaking votes when necessary. Additionally, they often represent the President and the administration's policies in various functions and can take on specific responsibilities as assigned by the President.
