USS Enterprise (CVN-65) was a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier of the United States Navy, notable for being the world's first nuclear aircraft carrier. Launched in 1960 and decommissioned in 2012, it played a crucial role in numerous military conflicts and humanitarian missions. The ship was 1,123 feet long and could carry around 90 aircraft. With eight nuclear reactors, it had virtually unlimited range and endurance.
