Tyndale Translation

The Tyndale Translation refers to the English translations of the Bible made by William Tyndale in the early 16th century. Tyndale aimed to make the scriptures accessible to ordinary people, translating the New Testament and parts of the Old Testament directly from Hebrew and Greek texts. His work was groundbreaking because it was one of the first English translations printed using the printing press. Tyndale's translations significantly influenced later versions of the Bible, including the King James Version, and he became a martyr for his efforts to promote religious reform and literacy through scripture.
