Tissue Biopsy

A tissue biopsy is a medical procedure where a small sample of tissue is taken from the body for examination. This is usually done to diagnose diseases, such as cancer, by looking at the cells under a microscope. The tissue can be obtained using a needle, during surgery, or with special instruments.
