Theory of Forms (Plato)

Plato's Theory of Forms posits that beyond our physical world, there exists a realm of perfect, abstract entities or "Forms." These Forms are the true essence of concepts we encounter daily, such as beauty, justice, and equality. For instance, while there are many beautiful things in the world, they all share the essence of Beauty itself, which is unchanging and perfect. Plato argues that understanding these Forms allows us to grasp the ultimate truths behind our imperfect, sensory experiences, guiding us toward deeper knowledge and enlightenment.
