Theories of Everything

A Theory of Everything (ToE) is a theoretical framework in physics that aims to explain and connect all fundamental forces and particles in the universe. Currently, we have separate theories for gravity (General Relativity) and the other forces (Quantum Mechanics). A ToE seeks to unify these into a single, coherent model, ultimately describing everything from the smallest particles to the vast cosmos. Scientists explore candidates like string theory and loop quantum gravity, hoping to discover a comprehensive understanding of the underlying principles that govern our universe.
