The Tidal Theory
The Tidal Theory suggests that the forces exerted by the Moon and the Sun on Earth create tides in the oceans. As these celestial bodies exert gravitational pull, water is drawn toward them, resulting in high tides. Conversely, areas farther from the pull experience low tides. This is a cyclical process influenced by the positions of these bodies, as well as the Earth’s rotation. Tidal patterns are important for various ecosystems and human activities, such as fishing and navigation. Understanding tides helps us appreciate the dynamic relationship between Earth and its celestial neighbors.
