The S-Curve

The S-Curve is a model used to illustrate how progress or growth occurs over time in various fields, like technology or business. Initially, progress is slow as new ideas or innovations are developed. Then, as they gain acceptance and understanding, growth accelerates rapidly, leading to significant advancements. Eventually, growth tapers off as it approaches maturity or saturation. The shape resembles an "S," starting flat, steepening in the middle, and then flattening again at the top. This model helps us understand the lifecycle of innovations, from inception to widespread adoption and eventual stability.
