The Choice Paradox
The Choice Paradox refers to the idea that having too many options can make decision-making more difficult and less satisfying. When faced with numerous choices, people may feel overwhelmed, leading to anxiety about making the wrong decision. This can result in "analysis paralysis," where individuals struggle to choose at all, or post-decision regret, where they question their selection. Ultimately, while having options is generally good, an excessive number can hinder our ability to make confident and fulfilling choices.
