The Bentham Project

The Bentham Project is an initiative dedicated to editing and publishing the writings of Jeremy Bentham, an influential philosopher and legal theorist known for his work on utilitarianism and social reform in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The project aims to make Bentham's ideas accessible by preparing a complete edition of his manuscripts, many of which remain unpublished or difficult to find. By doing so, it seeks to enhance understanding of his contributions to ethics, law, and political philosophy, allowing current and future generations to engage with his thoughts and their relevance today.
