The Atacama Giant is a large geoglyph located in the Atacama Desert, Chile. Created by the indigenous people, it depicts a humanoid figure approximately 86 meters tall, with long arms and a prominent head. Dating back to around 1000 AD, it is believed to be a symbol related to religious or ceremonial practices. The figure is made by removing rocks from the surface to expose the lighter ground beneath. The Atacama Giant is one of the largest geoglyphs in the world and highlights the artistic and cultural heritage of ancient Andean civilizations.
