The Atacama Giant is a large geoglyph located in the Atacama Desert, Chile. Created by the indigenous people, it depicts a humanoid figure approximately 86 meters tall, with long arms and a prominent head. Dating back to around 1000 AD, it is believed to be a symbol related to religious or ceremonial practices. The figure is made by removing rocks from the surface to expose the lighter ground beneath.
